Αποδεκτή Πολιτική Χρήσης
Αποδεκτή πολιτική χρήσης ενός ιστοτόπου από τους επισκέπτες του. Επιχειρήσεις, σχολεία και Internet Service Providers δημιουργούν AUPs για την πρόληψη του spamming, της πειρατείας και άλλων παράνομων ενεργειών.

Έλεγχος Πρόσβασης
H χορήγηση ή άρνηση άδειας για να προσεγγιστεί ένας πόρος (π.χ., ένα ορισμένο αρχείο, ένα ορισμένο πρόγραμμα).
